- He had started learning classical music from his father at a tender age of five years and completed Sangeet - Visharad degree at the age of fifteen from Bruhad Gujarat Sangeet Samiti. He stood first prize in both A & B categories classical music competitions organized by Gujarat State. He has got several prizes in other competition too. He has given classical vocal recital in Gujarat Sangeet Natya Academy, saptak, Tridalam, Maharastra Mandal, Kirana Gharana Sangeet Sammelan – Banglore, Namostute, Aradhana Music Academy, Sur-Samvad, Pranav-Parijat, Pt. Mahadev Shastri Sangeet Sammelan and also at various other prestigious events.

- Apart from being an artist, he is a teacher, examiner, judge, organizer, guide, interactive lecturer & demonstrator and vagyekar too. Since last three decades, his students have secured sangeet visharad (Graduation), Alankar (Post-graduation) & pravin (Ph.D) degrees under his guidance. He is also actively involved as a paper setter, examiner and organizer in various exams conducted by SCOPA (Sarvaganik College of Performing Arts, Surat), Bruhad Gujarat Sangeet Samiti – Ahmedabad, Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidhyala – Mumbai as well as Maha Gujarat Sangeet Samiti.
